Rebecca is a founding partner of Delta Economics and is responsible for developing and organising the World Entrepreneurship Summit (WES) which takes place annually in London. She is the Chief Policy Adviser to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Entrepreneurship, a Director of the German-British Forum, a Senate member of the Genesis Initiative and a Senior Enterprise Fellow of the University of Essex. She has a global academic, policy and business background, manages the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor research for all the English regions and local authorities and was formerly the Executive Director of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor worldwide. Formerly she was an Associate Director of Research at Deloitte and Chief Economist of The Work Foundation. She is a member of the Birmingham Business School Advisory Board and sits on the Academic Advisory Board of the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at the Said Business School, University of Oxford. She has held a variety of academic and advisory posts including a Visiting Professorship at Birkbeck School of Management and a role as specialist adviser to the Treasury Select Committee. She contributes to The Director and is a contributing Editor of the Business Strategy Review. She has a D-Phil in innovation and technology management in Germany and the UK.
