GEM UK research shows that young people are more likely to be setting up businesses for social or environmental purposes using their wealth to continue developing and enhancing their sustainability goals. But the debate on entrepreneurship and its role in sustainable economic development is only just beginning. We think that entrepreneurs have the drive and energy to use new business models and approaches to developing new ways of living our daily lives that will not destroy the environment and that will lift developing nations out of poverty.
Do you agree? If you agree, what can we do about it? What needs to change? How do we make people realise that entrepreneurship is about all types of wealth creation, not just about money?
