Socially Responsible Investment

At the start of Angela Merkel's new term in office, the German Ministry for Work and Social Affairs commissioned Delta Economics to write a summary of current thinking in the area of Socially Responsible Investment (SRI).  It finds that the sector is growing in Europe and is actually larger than it is in the US.  there are challenges in mainstreaming SRI but it demonstrates clearly that funds dedicated to social, economic development and environmental purposes are attracting the interest of investors, in particular younger high networth individuals.
