The Women's Enterprise Centre of Expertise
The Women's Enterprise Centre of Expertise (WECOE) supported the development and growth of women's enterprise in the West Midlands region of the UK. It commissioned four policy briefings from Delta Economics looking at:
- Women's Enterprise Culture in the West Midlands
- Women's Business Start ups
- Access to finance for women owned and managed businesses
- Established women's businesses
In addition, WECOE sponsored the second COGS women report looking at the Challenges and Opportunities that women's enterprises across the UK and in the West Midlands.
These reports launched at a major event at Aston Villa Football Club in the West Midlands.
The research and subsequent reports and additional research has cemented Delta Economics' s role as a major source of information, analysis and research for all aspects of Women's Enterprise. Also see work conducted for the Women's Enterprise Task Force and the Women's National Policy Centre.
