The Grant Thornton Entrepreneur Insight Survey
At the beginning of the economic downturn, we conducted two surveys, within six months of each other, for Grant Thornton. The surveys looked at the motivations and experiences of entrepreneurs and how they were being affected by changes in the economic environment.
They assessed the extent to which businesses in the UK were indeed, resilient under the economic pressure at the time, which seemed to be more of a minor economic 'blip' than a permanent economic downturn. it is a good example of how a snapshot piece of research can be used as a clear insight into wider conditions - and also how research can be turned to the client's advantage by creating Market Insights.
